Art Gallery

Armitage were chosen to convert part of this grade II listed building to incorporate a modern Art Gallery in Hyde. The building was completely refurbished, a metal staircase with glass panels and an Italian designed glass elevator were installed and given the sensitive nature of the artworks, additional protection was taken through the installation of specialist climate control and tinted glass to reduce excessive temperature fluctuation. The end result was a superb example of a quality refurbishment project, producing an excellent facility.
