New build and refurbishment of Schools & Colleges

This grade II listed building required extensive renovation and refurbishment work both internally & externally. Internally the brief was to deliver better functionality and an updated environment for pupils to work. A comfort cooling system was installed to compensate for the additional heat from the computers in the IT department and floors throughout the building were treated to reduce peripheral noise. Externally a new Pentagon Courtyard was added to form a very attractive leisure link to the existing school, the hipped roof structure was removed and replaced with a new single pitch roof and a new corridor was created which was lit with conservation roof lights.
