Stepping Hill Hospital

Fast – track schedules are often standard procedure on NHS contracts and the recent works to strip out and refurbish an existing hospital unit at Stockport’s Stepping Hill Hospital was completed by us ahead of the eight week deadline. With wards operational both above and adjacent to the project, careful planning, considerations and close communication with nursing staff was required at all times. Specialist tools were brought in to minimize noise disturbance and material delivery was carefully scheduled to lessen disruption.
